This Vapor Tight light fixture offers several features that make it perfect for applications in harsher environments. It is made from polymers designed to draw heat away from the lamp as well as resist exposure to dirt and moisture. It has marine grade stainless steel hardware that can stand up to corrosive substances, including salt water spray and acids. The housing has beveled edges to allow water to slide off and drain through the holes in the frame. The housing is mountable in several ways, including pendant, conduit, or surface mount. The junction box on the housing is impact resistant. It can be used with the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor, so the light only comes on when someone walks by. The sensor has different programming settings, for a more customized operation. Examples of applications include food processing plants, parking garages, tunnels & subways, stairwells, loading docks, and car washes.
