Sealcon M50 x 1.5 nickel plated brass hazardous location (Hazloc) strain relief fittings are used in applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is done without twisting the cable. This cord grip provides a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Increase modularity by trading out the standard or reduced inserts. The self locking ACME thread on the dome top makes sure the overlapping splines provide an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the cable gland & gives pull out protection to your cable so no damage is caused. EMI/RFI Proof fittings meet the standards for electromagnetic interference protection and reliable grounding. This standard version presses braiding against the inside wall via the integrated O-Ring. It can only be used with a braided shield. Plant equipment, control panels, railroads, and measuring and feedback systems are all applications that benefit from this type of cord grip. Hazardous location cable glands are ATEX approved, as they are designed for potentially explosive environments. The CD50MA-EX is labeled Ex-e, indicating greater safety
