Sealcon PG 29 nylon plastic hazardous location strain relief fittings are especially useful in applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, which can be done without twisting the cable. Also known as cable glands or cord grips, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Hazardous location cord grips are ATEX approved, meaning they are ideal for use in potentially explosive environments. This cable gland is designated Ex-e, indicating increased safety. Trading out the standard inserts with reduced inserts increases modularity. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets help keep your cable protected from damage and the elements. The CD29AR-BX fitting provides a substantial amount of Pull-out resistance by applying concentric force on all points of the cable.
