Sealcon PG 48 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cord grips are used in many industries to connect cable to different applications. This strain relief fitting is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to obtain that rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD48A3BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
