Sealcon PG 48 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cord grips are used in many industries to connect cable to different applications. This cable gland is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To obtain that rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD48A2BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal, keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
