Sealcon PG 48 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole strain relief fittings, also known as cable glands or cord grips, are used in many industries to connect cable to different applications. This cord grip is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To achieve that rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference between the cable's diameter and the hole's diameter also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be needed to confirm it. The ACME thread on the CD48A1BR dome top is self locking, with the overlapping splines applying an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
