Sealcon PG 36 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cord grips are used in a wide variety of industries when connecting cable to different applications. This strain relief fitting can obtain a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To meet this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and that of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be needed to confirm it. The ACME thread on the CD36APBR dome top is self locking and the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides pull-out protection for your cable so it causes no damage.
