Many industries use Sealcon M25 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands when connecting cable and wire to different applications. This strain relief fitting provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To attain that rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). of difference between the cable's diameter and the diameter of the hole. It is possible to achieve the submersible NEMA 6 (IP 68) rating, provided that there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD25M4BR dome top is self locking and makes sure that the overlapping splines apply an even seal. The form seal is kept from being pulled out of the fitting & provides pull-out protection to your cable so it does not cause damage.
