Sealcon 3/4" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Strain Relief Fittings, also known as Cord Grips or Cable Glands, are used to attach cable or wire to different applications. They are used in many different industries. This cable gland can reach a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating, provided that the cable is not less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the cable's diameter and the hole's diameter. The fitting should be tested beforehand to see if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is obtainable. The ACME thread on the CD21NPBR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
