Sealcon PG 21 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands are used in a wide variety of industries when attaching cable or wire to different applications. This strain relief fitting can obtain a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole to achieve this rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be needed to confirm it. The ACME thread on the CD21APBR dome top is self locking and the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
