Description

The Red Lion PAXCDC50 is a Profibus DP communications option card. It is to be used only with the PAX series of Red Lion panel meters. Features Cyclic I/O Data Transmission (up to 84 bytes in/out), with baud rates of 9.6K to 12MB and auto baud rate detection. Using this option card gives the PAX panel meter direct access to a Profibus DP network. A Profibus master device can then take control of the panel meter. The card also features 3 LED indicators to show the status of data exchange, SPC3 watchdog, and DP state machine.
