The Meltric 63-14047 DSN20 female receptacle is rated for 277/480V and 20A. It features 3 Poles plus ground and neutral. It has a wiring capacity of 14-12 AWG with a temperature range of -40 F to 140 F. The impact resistant body is made from blue thermoplastic polyester that is reinforced with fiberglass. It is made to withstand exposure to chemicals and UV radiation. Type 4X for water tightness, rated IP 66 / IP 67. UL listed.

The 63-14047 is part of the Meltric Decontactor series, intended to provide optimum safety by eliminating exposure to arc flash. The durable construction is designed to last without needing replacement parts right away. The lightweight design of the DSN series will not take up a lot of room. Because it is watertight, it is ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. These connectors also feature plug and play capability for a fast and easy disconnect, making for more efficient operation by creating less downtime.
Safety shutter: Closes over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent accidental contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the right amount of contact pressure. Balances out physical variations and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and takes out the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Keeps any chance of an arc flash contained inside. Contacts are kept inside the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring creates pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to provide a more secure connection
