Junction boxes typically contain electrical connections in order to protect them from outside tampering and environmental conditions. These electrical enclosures also protect others from the electrical wires encased inside, especially in the case of possible sparks coming from an overloaded connection. These enclosures also protect the integrity of the circuits to which they may be connected. LiteCycle electrical enclosures include multi-purpose junction boxes as well as enclosures with integrated terminal strips for joining wires. Some of the plastic enclosures feature molded knockouts, which can be punched out to fit various sizes of cable. These plastic and aluminum enclosures are made to be durable and long lasting. The plastic terminal enclosures have been certified to meet the standards set by UL208A:2005. All aluminum enclosures are tested to meet IP 67 standards, making them submersible up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. LiteCycle also offers push button boxes with colored resin covers. Coming in emergency red or caution yellow to make them easier to locate, they can be used for stop switches. The push button boxes also feature molded knockouts, with entries for one or two push buttons.

The five different versions of electrical enclosures from LiteCycle are all ideally suited for different applications, but are by no means limited to those applications. Suggested uses for each of these enclosures are listed in the table below.
