The Light Efficient Design LED-8032MGB is a 150W overhead LED SimuLight lamp. It has a rated voltage of 120-277VAC. The spectrum focuses on blue, green, red, far red and UV wavelengths. The blue and red wavelengths promote chlorophyll reactions while the other wavelengths stimulate growth and plant quality. It has a lifespan of 50,000 hrs and is intended to replace HPS lamps up to 300-400W. The LED-8032MGB has an E39 Mogul base and can be retrofitted into open or closed fixtures. UL listed for damp locations.

This overhead LED-8032 series light has been subjected to tests that ensure it stimulates plant growth. The lamp is intended for use with fruit and flowering plants and can be used in high humidity areas. It comes with all the advantages of regular LEDs, including long life, low maintenance and replacement costs, and less energy usage. This light does not release a great amount of heat, so it can be placed in close proximity to the plants. Keep in mind the ballast needs to be bypassed during installation

SimuLight Grow Lights are designed mainly for agricultural use, specifically in providing the illumination that's needed for growing plants inside. This lamp is recommended to be used as the only source of light for the plants. Examples of applications that would get the most benefit from the LED-8032MGB include indoor farms, commercial greenhouses, nurseries, hydroponic and aquaponic facilities.
