The housing is manufactured from die-cast zinc, so it can withstand the harsher conditions of the industrial environment. This includes exposure to filings, coolants & lubricants, welding sparks, as well as shock and vibration. It can be mounted directly on the machinery, saving time and energy by providing a place for multiple M12 connections. Some common industries include mechanical engineering, plant construction, welding, food & beverage equipment, and material handling. A T-junction can be used on the M12 distribution block to give you twice as many possible connections. The ports are embedded, which adds to its overall space saving design.
